Italian Ground Beef Meatballs
Try this budget-friendly recipe highlighting our Co+op Basic's grassfed Thousand Hills Ground Beef. These meatballs are a great addition to any Italian pasta dish and are super quick to make!

Yellow onion

Garlic

Grana Padano Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup, grated
Featherlane egg

Italian bread crumbs

Parsley
1/4 cup, finely chopped
Thyme
2 sprigs
Dried oregano

- Mince garlic and dice onions. In a small skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add onion and garlic and cook until tender. Cool slightly.
- Grate parmesan cheese, and add to a large bowl with ground beef, an egg, oregano, chopped parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper and mix thoroughly with your hands. Shape into 1.5 inch balls.
- Cook the meatballs in a big skillet with olive oil while flipping to different sides or if you'd rather bake the meatballs, you can place them on a baking sheet and cook for up to 20 minutes at 350F.
- Once meatballs are fully cooked, serve them with cooked pasta and Homemade Carrot Tomato Sauce.
