Co+op Basics: Chocolate Chip Cookies

Baking powder
1/4 teaspoon
Salt

Unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup (2 sticks)
Field Day light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups
Field Day cane sugar
1/2 cup
Feather Lane eggs, room temperature

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar and cane sugar on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop balls of dough at least 2 inches apart onto the baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-14 minutes until the edges are lightly tan.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before eating.
