Co+op Basics: Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
Field Day all-purpose flour
3 cups
Baking soda
1 teaspoon
Baking powder
1/4 teaspoon
Salt
1 teaspoon
Unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup (2 sticks)
Field Day light brown sugar
1 1/2 cups
Field Day cane sugar
1/2 cup
Feather Lane eggs, room temperature

Vanilla extract
1 tablespoon
Field Day chocolate chips
1 package

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and cane sugar on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop balls of dough at least 2 inches apart onto the baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-14 minutes until the edges are lightly tan.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before eating.
