Rye & The Manhattan

Rye & The Manhattan Cocktail Class
Friday, November 17th

6:30 - 8:00 pm

SOLD OUT

Join us for our next cocktail class with Katie Carrillo and learn all about rye and The Manhattan! A classic Manhattan is made with rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, bitters, and a brandied cherry. It was invented in New York City's Manhattan Club in the late 1800s, and remains one of the most popular cocktails to this day.

This class will consist of a charcuterie board, a tasting of 3 ryes, lessons on the history and making of rye and The Manhattan, and a demonstration on making the classic cocktail. Students will then make their own Manhattan using a unique combination of ingredients from the Co-op including a variety of herbs, fruits, spices, and bitters. Included in the ticket price is your very own Nick & Nora glass that you get to keep!

$50/person. Limited seating available - only 12 seats per class. Ticket includes class plus tasting and glassware. Waiting list will be made available once tickets are sold out.

Must be 21 to attend.
