Christmas Tree Garlic Bread

Bring a little holiday magic to the table this season with a warm, buttery garlic bread Christmas Tree! Each pull-apart piece is filled with festive herbs and garlic, and a dash of chili flakes to keep you cozy all evening long. This dish is perfect for parties, family dinners, or even as an appetizer! 

Ingredients
Co-op pizza dough
2 packages
Garlic
5 cloves
Salted butter
1 stick
Parmesan, grated
1/2 cup
Fresh sage
1 tablespoon
Dried basil
2 teaspoons
Fresh parsley
handful
Chili flakes
pinch
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste

Prep time: 10 minutes 

Cook time: 20 minutes

  1. Dethaw the pizza dough the night before. 

  2. Finely chop the garlic, sage, and parsley. Set aside. 

  3. Grate the parmesean. 

  4. Combine chopped ingredients with soften butter, basil, oregano, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

  5. Roll out the first package of dough and cut out into tree shape. 

  6. Add the butter mixture onto the first rolled out piece of dough and set aside. 

  7. Roll out the second package of dough, cut into tree shape and place ontop of the first piece of dough. 

  8. Cut 1 inche strips along each side of the tree and twist the pieces to provide a textured look. 

  9. Bake at 375 for 18-22 minutes.

  10. Remove from oven, let cool, serve & enjoy!
