Game Day Spinach Artichoke Bites

Ingredients
Frozen spinach, thawed
10-ounce package
Artichoke hearts
6 ounces
Garlic, minced
1 teaspoon
Grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons
Cream cheese, room temperature
4 ounces
Mozzarella, shredded
3/4 cup
Garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
To taste
Crescent dough
8-ounce can

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a bowl, combine spinach, artichoke hearts, garlic, and parmesan cheese. Blend in the cream cheese and half the mozzarella. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Using a rolling pin, lay out the dough on a cutting board and lightly stretch it to an 8x12-inch rectangle. Cut dough into 2-inch squares, so you have 24 squares total.
  4. Lightly grease a mini muffin tin and place a square in each slot, gently pushing down to create an indent.
  5. Scoop one teaspoon of the spinach mixture on top and gently push in. Add the remaining mozzarella over the tops.
  6. Bake for 15-17 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
