Jan Brandt's art invites viewers to engage deeply with her compositions, encouraging them to discover hidden details and consider the interplay of representational and abstract elements. Her aim is to transform gallery spaces with saturated colors and textures. In Step Right Up, the artist draws upon her life-long fascination with the colors, patterns, and excitement of the circus experience.
