Join us for a cooking class focused on gluten free baking with Co-op instructor, Carl Reisman. Participants will learn about gluten free mixes, blending their own flours, and creating gluten free mixes from scratch. Carl will also teach tips and tricks that he's learned over the years as a professional cook.
The menu includes:
- Gluten Free Chicken Pot Pie - with mashed potato bottom crust and a gluten free top pie crust
- Carl's Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

About Instructor: Carl Reisman
Carl Reisman cooked professionally in New Orleans, Oregon, Iowa, and in Champaign-Urbana including work as the Deli and Bakery Manager at New Pioneer Coop in Iowa City, and Strawberry Fields in both Champaign and Urbana. He has taught baking and vegetarian cooking classes for Common Ground. He is the former News Gazette restaurant critic and Guest Chef in Residence on WILL AM Focus 580.
