Chef Ernesto Rodriguez was born in Oaxaca, Mexico. While growing up, all of his meals revolved around mole that his family prepared. In 2017 Ernesto created El Molcajete Sauces, offering four varitites of mole sauce, a roasted tomatillo sauce, chili oil, and homemade tortilla chips - dishes that represent his home, which is often refered to as "The Land of Seven Moles." Today, Ernesto creates these sauces and shares his family recipes to feel close to his childhood and his home.
