About the Instructor:
"I have always been captivated by the perplexities in the world around me. From the quiet beauty of the natural world, to the bustling energy of a house party, I am inspired by the vast polarities of the world around us.
As an artist, I strive to create a body of work that honors the elegance of nature and the kitsch of modern living in a way that feels harmonious. I pair vivid color palettes with stark black backgrounds to create a sense of striking contrast between the two. I paint common everyday scenes with enriched tones and skewed perspectives to draw visual interest for the view. In emphasizing such dualities and imperfections in my work, my goal is to create a connection of full-specturm experience."
