Pav Bhaji Masala is one of the most beloved street foods of Mumbai, India. Spicy and tangy, as opposed to its sweet, American cousin, sloppy joes; pav bahji is a vegetable ragout (bhaji) served with soft bread rolls (pav) toasted in butter. In this class, you'll learn to make traditional pav bhaji and learn about vegan variations.
About the Instructor: As a child, Sirisha Bhandaru learned to cook not only the foods of her family's home state in India, but numerous others as her family followed her father's career throughout the country. Sirisha cooks the traditional recipes of her childhood, as well as modern interpretations and fusion dishes using locally available ingredients.
Class Type: Hands-on Cooking
As always, if you prefer, you may sign up in person with our Front of House staff at the registers in the store.
