A Cooking Class Fundraiser for Sola Gratia Farm

Join us for this month's virtual cooking class and meal kit with a menu that will highlight the peak summer harvest from Sola Gratia Farm! All proceeds from this class will also benefit Sola Gratia Farm to help support their programs that address hunger and food insecurity in Champaign-Urbana. Sarah Buckman from Common Ground will guide you cooking a dinner that includes roasted eggplant and cherry tomatoes, crispy seasoned chickpeas, tulsi basil tahini sauce, cucumber quinoa salad with a jalapeño vinaigrette served with a side of pita bread. Cook up a delicious dinner while learning about Sola Gratia's community impact, hear farm stories, and learn various ways to cook summer produce.


Register below and preorder your meal kit to pick up on Friday, August 19th from 4-6pm in the Common Ground Flatlander Classroom. The $30 meal kit serves 2-3 people with the option to add on a bottle of wine. Tune in for the virtual Zoom live cooking class on Sunday, August 21st from 3-5pm and cook the dishes in your kitchen using the preportioned ingredients. Once you submit the preorder form, you will be directed to PayPal to complete your payment. You'll also receive email reminders about the upcoming pick up date as well as details for the class.
