Turkey Brine Recipe
Ingredients:
In a large stockpot combine:
1/2 gallon water
1 cup sea salt
1 cup sugar
5 bay leaves
2 lemons, quartered
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1 gallon ice
Directions
Simmer about 15 minutes stirring to make sure sugar and salt are dissolved. Remove from heat and let set until you are ready to brine your bird.
