We have a LOT going on in September! Labor Day, Owner Appreciation Days, the Meeting of Owners, the launch of our new Website, Back to School promotions, the list goes on and you can see it all when you read the rest of the newsletter!
Perhaps the biggest one for me is our current Owner Drive. In just the past couple of months we have seen many more new owners join our ranks in support of Common Ground as we would normally have. I would love to see us reach our goal of 300 new owners by the end of October and I know we can do it with your help!
These are some of the talking points that may be useful for sharing in your daily conversations with friends, family and co-workers:
We are not just a grocery store! We are a center for activity that supports our local community. From the local farms we help support, to our Food For All Program we are focused on the good of our neighbors and staff and not on making our corporation rich.
We are a democratic organization that relies on our owners to help us determine our course for the future.
Our owners decide, by vote at the Meeting of Owners, who will sit on our Board of Directors and represent the interests of all owners and the direction of the Co-op.
Owners receive many benefits that everyday shoppers do not such as: Discounts on food, Radish Rewards (our loyalty program), and 4 times per year, a week dedicated to you in appreciation of all you do for the community.
Our Owners determine, also by vote, which organizations we will support through our Round Up For Good program.
Common Ground is here for you and we most certainly appreciate all you do for us!
