2018 Election Results

This year, we had three full 3-year terms up for election. After accepting a resignation at our September Board meeting, the Board had an additional vacancy and, following an option from our procedure for appointments, chose to fill the resulting 1 year term with the candidate who received the fourth highest vote total.

Our new Board members are:

Kathleen Moreno, 210 votes (2018-2021)

Yusuf Hermes, 188 votes (2018-2021)

Charles Delman, 146 votes (2018-2021)

Evelyne Tardy, 144 votes (2018-2019)

The bylaw amendment to remove the phrase "No director shall be an employee of the Co-op." from the paragraph on eligibility passed. A valid vote required at least 3% of our 5410 active owners to participate, or 162 owners. Passage required 51% voting yes. The vote totals on the bylaws amendment were:

Yes - 225

No -  122

Abstain -  58

We would like to thank all owners who took the time to vote in the election. We also would like to thank all Board candidates for the time, energy and thought they put into the election process.
