Become a Working Member

Working members are a vital part of Common Ground Food Co-op. As a member, you are entitled to apply for working member positions and earn discounts in the store for working on one of the co-op work teams.

Working member discounts cannot be combined with any other discounts; the greater of the two discounts will always be applied. As a working member, you join a work team that is headed up by one of our co-op managers and commit to a regular work position that is crucial to the functioning of the store.

Interested in becoming a working member? The first step is to fill out a working member application (available at the register), which helps staff know where members' skills can be most helpful. Then, the Outreach Coordinator, Meagan Luhrs, offers available positions to applicants based on the member's availability.
