Listen to the latest research on nutritional modifications for irritable bowel syndrome - FODMAPs. Learn about these specific carbohydrate types that may cause gastrointestinal issues for some people. This class will also present tips for cooking low-FODMAP foods and participants will make low FODMAP dishes.

About the instructor: Lauren has a background in chemistry and food science and is currently a doctoral student in Nutritional Sciences at the U of I, while also studying to be a registered dietitian. She specializes in alternative dietary lifestyles and has also worked as a product developer for a major chocolate company!
